It has a nice set of mid 90s eight speed alloy wheels with Shimano Deore hubs, a fine leather brooks saddle, modern platform pedals, Maxxis gum wall tires, Oury grips, new cables and housing, and lots of attention to making this bike a very special rider.

The High Sierra features a hand brazed chromoly frame and fork, a very fine wheelset with Weinman black rims laced to fully sealed Joytech hubs and stainless steel spokes, a Brooks Cambium saddle, new Oury Grips, New Cables and Housing, a NOS Suntour Rear Cassettte-Freewheel, new Blue Annodized Alloy platform pedals, new S&M Speedball 26x2.40 gum wall tires, new tubes and a complete professional overhaul with all bearing cleaned, greased and adjusted and all parts cleaned serviced tuned up. This is a very fine example of one of Schwinn's premier MTBs from the early days of the All Terrain Bicycle era.
