1965 Sears Spaceliner Chrome 26 Inch Cruiser - SOLD

DESCRIPTION
If you want to look amazing at the beach, you need this ride. 1965 Sears Spaceliner Chrome 26 Inch Wheel Cruiser. From our total breakdown of the bike, it appears to have had a restore in the 1970s; the wheels are M.O (Murray of Ohio) stamped drop center wheels, similar to what it would have been rolling on in the 60's with a 1970s stamped Bendix Coaster arm. Tires are not original and have some light cracking. OG pedals, seat and grips would have been red. We matched the Persons White Gold Fleck Saddle (which is period correct) with a set of 1960s torpedo grips. Pedals are WALD from the 1970s. And, the tank is missing. Original chain guard and crank arm guard as well as rear rack, bars, etc. are all there. If you know these bikes, you know that they were clear coated from the factory so getting them back down to chrome is lots of work. We stripped this down, overhauled everything, and polished it up. It's not perfect but it show really well.

963 Schwinn Flamboyant Red Corvette 26'' Cruiser Original Vintage 26" SOLD

DESCRIPTION
The Schwinn Corvette changed very little between its debut in 1954 and 1963. With its front rack, full fenders, and white walls, it shines as an example if the mid century middle weight cruiser. This 26 inch wheel beauty is original down to the reflectors and has been carefully overhauled. This bike was well cared for and stored properly so it had little rust. The front fork appears to be slightly bent at the base of the steer tube but the bike is still very ridable. White walls are started to come apart, mostly in the front. The two speed kick-back hub is slightly sticky. There is some paint wear on the top tube from age but the overall patina of this bike is very fine. New grease on major bearings, all parts cleaned and polished and the overhaul stressed keeping everything original.
