DESCRIPTION

1965 Huffy Eldorado with original paint and components, full mechanical overhaul and gentle restoration; its only original once! This beauty was a labor of love and has about 8 shop hours into it so no lowballs if you are interested. See Pics.

Here the lowdown on the work that went into this Eldorado

• Frame and fork: cleaned and lightly polished to keep it looking original and not over worked.

• Bars: cleaned and polished with some chrome wear and scuffing

• Stem: Wald stem cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner inside and out with bolts scrubbed and lightly polished Grips: cleaned and bleached

• Saddle: scoured and cleaned- no rips or tears and seat guts are solid

• Seatpost: cleaned and polished lightly

• Seatpost: clamp cleaned and brushed on the mini bench polisher

• Pedals: ultrasonic cleaner and mineral spirits and then scoured. shafts cleaned on the bench polisher

• Cranks: scoured and degreased and then polished

• Bottom Bracket Bearings: cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner and repacked Sprocket: two rounds in the ultrasonic cleaner with simple green and then polished by hand

• Chain: IZUMI chain cleaned with mineral spirits ultrasonic to prevent blueing from wearing off. The chain is now amazing.

• Wheels: hand cleaned to remove rust. Front wheel has lots of chrome wear. hubs hand brushed with a dremel wand and a brass wheel. Front hub has new grease. Rear hub is clean and coaster is working great.

• Tires: Penny White Walls; Scoured and showing very minor cracking.

• Chain guard: removed with rust removal on inner side and clean and gentle polish on outside.

• Rear Rack: Rust removed from underside and gentle polish to top with lots of patina and paint loss from sun.

• Fenders: rust removed from underside and hand cleaned and polished on chrome which is 5 out of 10.

• Jet Plane on front fender: has lost its silver paint and has chipping on top side; it is awesome.

• Tank: dis-assembled cleaned inner area, battery compartment, and all switches. Electric is not set up for light. Len cap has silver paint worn off and does not have the OG lens cap.
