Described in the 1993 Schwinn Catalog as their TOP OF THE LINE CROSS BIKE, this Cross Cut in Grape is in like condition with all original components and with a fresh full overhaul; new grease on all bearings, service and adjustment of all components, brakes adjusted, shifting dialed-in, wheels true. This bike features a full chromoly lugged frame and fork, very reliable Shimano Altus brakes, shifters, derailleurs and crankset, very cool Glen wrap bars, full fenders, and some serious good looks. A beautiful very lightly ridden and meticulously maintained Ice Violet with and Natural Carbon with Violet Decals 1996 Trek 7900 Multi Track with a fresh tuned up, new grease in bearings, shifting and braking adjusted and ready to ride. This fine 19 Inch carbon-cromo frame is in excellent condition with very very minimal wear to paint. Built for performance by Trek, it features most of its original components including the drive train in excellent condition. A zoom stem, Kenda cross tires, Ergo Gel Saddle, Trigger shifter to replace grip shifters, and pedal clips have been added or replaced OG components. This bike's component group includes Shimano a XT Rear Derailleur, LX front Derailleur, Brakes, Cranks, and Deore Shifters. Light nimble and fast, this bike is ready to ride as a touring bike (it has tabs on the fork legs for racks) and a nice long back end, or as a gravel bike, commuter, etc. Just a very fine bike here.
